We are seeking a dynamic, approachable, outgoing and detail-oriented Finance and HR Manager to lead all finance and accounting operations while handling critical legal aspects of human resources. This role ensures compliance with financial and labour regulations, supports decision-making with financial insights, and acts as a trusted advisor on HR legal matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance and Accounting:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reviewing various tax reports (VAT, PIT, WHT, CIT).
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
- Review sales and purchase contracts, input and output invoices, and other documents related to accounting and tax matters.
- Review and approve bank transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with the headquarters in Denmark for monthly and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc tasks.
- Develop and lead a team of five staff members in partnership with the Head of Finance.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during inspections and audits.
Human Resources – Legal Focus:
- Review and manage labor contracts, internal regulations, trade union and other documents related to HR to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Advise department heads on employee relations, terminations, and other HR legal matters.
- Represent the company during audits or inspections by labor authorities.
- Handle legal documentation and correspondence related to HR compliance.
- Possess solid knowledge and experience in managing work visas, work permits, and exit visas for expatriates.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors when required.
- Other Finance and HR tasks assigned by Head of Finance.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA/CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and local labor laws.
- Proven experience in dealing with tax authorities and handling tax inspections.
- Experience in labor law compliance and HR legal matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with employees and external parties.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting manager role, with exposure to HR legal responsibilities.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations and ensuring HR compliance in medium to large organizations.
