RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maya Pipeline TD you will be working directly with Team Leads and artists, understand the pipeline for various projects and come up with solutions to increase efficiency and automate/simplify/streamline parts of the production processes. Besides that you will receive requests from various artists to create tools and scripts in Maya, with a focus on 3d animation production process.

• Work with 3d Artists, Team Leaders to get a good understanding of current processes and come up with tools and scripts to support various projects
• Understand and expand current existing tools
• Create, test and implement new scripts and tools
• Create documentation/guides of these scripts and tools
• General Maya problem solving
• Troubleshootings Maya scenes and bugs

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years experience in the 3D industry
• Excellent knowledge of Pyhton/PyMel and Maya
• Experience with C++
• Experience with working with Vray
• Understanding of 3d pipeline
• Problem solver
• Team player,
• Self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision

Extra:

• Ability to create tools for After Effects/Houdini/Deadline
• Ability to create toolw for Windows
