As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will create high-quality, photorealistic renderings of products using Maya, Vray and Photoshop. Your role will focus on advanced lighting and compositing techniques to achieve outstanding still renders and occasionally 3D animations.
We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven individual with a curious mindset and a strong ability to learn. You will be working together with talented and fun Artists and Producers in 3D & Motion Department to produce outstanding marketing materials for world-wide known brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Light and composite product renderings using Maya, Vray and Photoshop.
- Develop and refine lighting strategies and techniques to enhance visual quality.
- Review and improve render outputs, offering constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate effectively with other artists, team leads, producers and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Mentor junior and mid-level lighting artists, fostering skill growth within the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Expert knowledge of Maya, Vray, and Photoshop, specifically for lighting, rendering, and compositing.
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, photorealistic product renders.
- Ability to analyze and recreate complex lighting scenarios from reference materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a critical eye for quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot rendering challenges.
- Proactive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Practical experience with ACES (Academy Color Encoding System) and OCIO (OpenColorIO) workflows in Photoshop for color consistency and accurate color management.
- Background in photography with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and color theory.
- Knowledge of Python scripting for workflow automation and efficiency.
- AI and prompting literacy, including familiarity with AI tools and workflows that enhance rendering and production processes.
- Compositing experience in After Effect and/or Nuke.
- Experience with Unreal Engine for real-time rendering and visualization.
